BERLIOZ - La damnation de Faust, Op. 24

Of the major 19th century works based on Goethe's Faust, Berlioz's La damnation de Faust is widely considered the greatest of them all. Scored for three solo singers, chorus and orchestra, it displays all the qualities that make Berlioz so popular: brilliant and innovative orchestration, lyric and dramatic vocal writing, and magnificent choruses.

Concert Duration: Approx. 2 hrs 20 min (inclusive of 20 min intermission)
