Synopsis:
|
The SSO's 30th Anniversary celebrations start off on a high note with the distinguished maestro Kent Nagano conducting the concert version of Strauss' one-act opera Elektra. Based upon the celebrated Greek tragedy by Sophocles, the opera tells the tale of Elektra’s quest to avenge the murder of her father Agamemnon by his wife and her lover.
