Chamber music offers elegant and precise ensemble playing, interrupted by solo flights of breathtaking intensity; it is as mesmerising, fragile and powerful as music can get. The SSO presents the VCH Chamber Series with our very own gifted musicians… All this and more at the charming Victoria Concert Hall.

Join German maestro Roger Epple and SSO musicians as they bring you a charming performance of chamber classics. The dignified march which opens Mozart’s Serenata Notturna sets the tone for a high-spirited serenade, which closes with a country dance. Dvorak’s cheerful Serenade for Strings in E was presented as a belated wedding gift to his wife and embodies love and affection in the last movement.
