We wish to keep playing music that will put a smile on your lips, inspire you and be part of your fondest memories in years to come.
We wish to keep improving and excelling artistically as Singapore's national orchestra and cultural treasure, doing Singapore and Singaporeans proud in the global arena of fine music.
2009 will also be one of the most challenging years for the SSO in its 30-year history. With an uncertain global economy, we expect giving from all sectors to be more conservative. The modest budget of the SSO is a fraction of other well-regarded orchestras in other first-tier cities.
Keep the SSO going strong by helping us stay in the black. Your encouragement through financial support is as important as your patronage at our concerts. Every dollar donated is tax exempt, and receives a matching grant from the government. Every seat filled is an encouragement to our musicians to give their best.
