MEET THE MUSIC MAKERS!
Meet the Music Makers! is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the various sections of the orchestra, the symphony orchestra and SSO musicians in a fun and light-hearted manner. This year we are proud to present the following choices: Introduction to the String Quartet and Introduction to the Brass Quintet.
During the session, Musician-Presenters will make a presentation on their instruments, demonstrating their respective capabilities and showcasing the different types of classical music. Contact us for booking information today!

MUSIC APPRECIATION TALKS & WORKSHOPS
Like to learn more about music and the symphony orchestra? Music Appreciation Talks & Workshops are ideal for working adults who wish to do so. During the talk, participants learn more about the different instruments in the orchestra, different musical periods and orchestral music through an interactive and light-hearted session and also get to try out various instruments. At the end, participants get to attend a SSO concert - an all-encompassing first step into the discovery of classical music. Suitable for both schools and organisations.

OPEN HOUSE
The Open House is an event that needs no introduction. Ideal for schools, it is a guided tour that showcases the various sections of orchestral instruments in demonstration sessions where students also get to touch and try the instruments. They are then treated to a lively concert by the SSO!
