Synopsis

1819. The year Singapore was founded, the year Beethoven wrote the first notes of his splendid Missa Solemnis, one of his greatest achievements. He wrote on the opening page: "From the heart - may it return to the heart" - this grand choral statement of conviction stars the Singapore Symphony Chorus directed by famed Japanese maestro Masaaki Suzuki.
