Ravel’s beautifully orchestrated La Tombeau de Couperin, an homage to the courtly elegance of the French Baroque, leads this delightful programme taking us to Mozart’s popular Paris Symphony, written when he visited the French capital in 1778. We welcome back the versatile and prominent French pianist Cédric Tiberghien as our guest soloist in Mozart’s sparkling Piano Concerto No. 13.
