On 7 February, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra will present two interactive concerts tailored for students
performing in concert bands and string ensembles.

SSO musicians will share first-hand tips on how to manage band dynamics as performers, and how a string
ensemble can articulate and communicate through body language.

SSO will be performing two Singapore Youth Festival set pieces for the band concert, Sunny Island by
Mr Wong Kah Chun Escape Velocity by Dr Kelly Tang. Additionally, some favourite pieces submitted by schools and students have been selected and will be featured during both concerts. Thank you for your submissions!
