"A pianist like a thunderbolt" (Der Tagesspiegel). "His performance blazes and glitters." (Westdeutsche Allgemeine Zeitung)." Christopher Park is a pianist who captivates with his fascinating technical mastery, astounding musical maturity, and a particularly intense performance style" – jury for the renowned Leonard Bernstein Award, 2014.

Performing over two nights at the Victoria Concert Hall, Park and the SSO will be directed by the esteemed veteran conductor Bruno Weil, 69, renowned exponent of the music of Viennese Classicism. Besides having conducted some of the greatest orchestras in the world in his long career, Maestro Weil is also recognised for his work in period instrument performance - qualities to look forward to in the programme featuring the two greatest composers of the Viennese Classical period, Haydn and Mozart.
