Due to health-related reasons, Martha Argerich has regretfully postponed her concerts in Singapore originally scheduled on 6, 7 and 9 June 2019, to future dates to be confirmed. Ticketholders will be contacted by SISTIC through e-mail and SMS by Friday 31 May 2019.
All ticketholders will be fully refunded.
For the concert on Friday 7 June, pianist Eric Lu, 2018 Leeds Competition First Prize winner and BBC New Generation Artist (2019-21), will replace Martha Argerich, performing Chopin’s First Piano Concerto with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Violinist Yu-Chien Tseng will also play Brahms’s Violin Concerto.
Complete details including ticketing will be published on www.sso.org.sg shortly. Existing ticketholders (for Martha Argerich’s 7 June concert) who wish to attend will have to purchase tickets anew.
The concerts on 6 and 9 June will no longer take place.
