SSO CONCERTS FOR CHILDREN (NOV-DEC)

Published on 10 September 2018

MUSIC TELLS A STORY (Nov 10-11)

Gerard Salonga, popular Philippines conductor-arranger and younger brother of award-winning singer Lea Salonga, will lead the SSO in our next Concert for Children, MUSIC TELLS A STORY. To be held at the Victoria Concert Hall, this programme is a musical showcase of creative orchestral tales and familiar favourites. Kids will be taught to listen for themes that represent characters and events in a musical story or picture.

Suitable for ages 4-14. No admission for infants-in-arms.

SSO BABIES' PROMS (Dec 8-9)

A perennial favourite and sell-out show, the popular SSO Babies' Proms returns for its 16th year this December. Hosted once again by veteran Babies Proms host, Peter Moore, this promises to be an hour of great fun and entertainment for parents and children alike.

Suitable for children aged 6 and below. Tickets required for ages 2 and above. Admission is free for children under 2 years when accompanied by an adult with a ticket.
