Left unfinished at his untimely death, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Requiem Mass is shrouded in a cloud of mystery. Why was Mozart writing a mass for the dead? For his father, an unknown patron, or himself? And why did Mozart die so young? What was the cause of his death? Was he aware that he was dying as he wrote this composition? Come explore the poignant beauty and mystery of Mozart’s life, death and music with Dr. Katherine Wallace.
