Synopsis
From 1 Jan 2022, only fully vaccinated, recovered, medically ineligible individuals, or children aged 12 and below, will be allowed admission into the venue. Pre-Event Testing (PET) results will no longer be accepted. Refunds will not be granted to ticket-holders who do not meet these admission requirements.
“These are distressing times. Most of the difficult music I play is distressing. Make me happy.” And so, in response to these words, American composer David Diamond (1915-2005) wrote his lively Rounds for String Orchestra in 1944, music to take people’s minds off the gloom of the times. That and love, the subject of Bernstein’s Serenade after Plato’s Symposium, form the central theme of this programme celebrating the return of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra live on stage.

Admission Advice
- Children must be age 5 and above to be admitted into the hall.
- Children under 5 will not be admitted into the hall, even with a ticket.
- Please bring along proof of child’s age, such as a student concession pass, as random checks may be conducted at the venue.
- Parents or guardians of children admitted are strongly encouraged to purchase aisle seats.
- We reserve the right to ask parents to bring children out of the hall should they be disruptive during the performance.
- No admission without a ticket.
- You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
- Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.
- Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing.
- These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.
