Synopsis

From 1 Jan 2022, only fully vaccinated, recovered, medically ineligible individuals, or children aged 12 and below, will be allowed admission into the venue. Pre-Event Testing (PET) results will no longer be accepted. Refunds will not be granted to ticket-holders who do not meet these admission requirements.

Let #TheViolinTravels take you around the world, on an exploration tour through music. Together with Chap Chee on percussions and Mabel Lim on the piano, the violin quartet, consisting of Eileen Chai, Alyssa Wong, Lauren Ngiam, and Valerie Kuan, aims to guide audiences in self-rediscovery; spark new ideas, and empower, and uplift the spirits of children, youth and adults.

The idea was first sparked in 2010 when Eileen dreamt of cycling round the world with the violin on her back. She dreamt of making music with the local communities and to spread laughter and optimism to everyone. More than a decade later, the idea was born. The music pieces are melodious, catchy, and can sometimes tickle some smiles with the variation of timbre, texture and tone of the instruments. #TheViolinTravels is part of the Chai360 musical ecosystem where people of all ages and from all walks of life, come together to chat about, collaborate and make music, with the theme of "Giving Through Music".
