Synopsis
Antonio Vivaldi, that Italian wellspring of the Baroque, not only left us a tremendous legacy of musical riches, but also deeply influenced the work of Bach, and by dint of that, all of classical music. In this lively selection of Vivaldi’s gems for orchestra, the SSO is delighted to be joined by the prodigious young Singaporean violinist Samuel Tan.
