SSO Demonstration Concert for School Bands
Biennial concert designed with school band members in mind
Students will learn about the importance of phrasing in music, and receive some tips on how to be a better musician.
Designed for school band members, this engaging concert by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra will feature set pieces from the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2027, choice pieces selected by our audience and more. Students will learn about the key elements to music-making and performance excellence, appreciate common hurdles and receive tips to better their musicianship from our musicians and conductor.

An exclusive mentorship programme opportunity will be open to student musicians attending the concert who are keen to further their knowledge on performing at a professional level, with musicians from the SSO.

For schools only. All MOE schools are able to use the Tote Board Arts Grant to subsidise up to 50% of the programme.
