Hannu Lintu in Concert: Nov & Dec 2026

Quantedge Music Director Hannu Lintu returns to the stage for two captivating programmes spanning the Romantic and modern orchestral repertoire. The first welcomes acclaimed Dutch violinist Simone Lamsma in John Adams' 1993 Violin Concerto, alongside Copland's beloved Appalachian Spring and Schumann's Symphony No. 4, exploring themes of nostalgia, discovery and transformation.

The following week, celebrated British cellist Steven Isserlis joins Hannu Lintu and the SSO for Schumann's deeply expressive Cello Concerto. The programme also features Schubert's Unfinished Symphony and Berio's imaginative Rendering, based on sketches by Schubert.
