INSPIRING TCHAIKOVSKY

The celebrated clarinettist Sabine Meyer, who has played with more than 300 orchestras worldwide, brings us the radiant joy and meditative serenity of Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto. The beauty of the work exemplifies the composer’s immortal appeal, which inspired Tchaikovsky to pay tribute via Mozartiana. Directed by Andrew Litton, this concert also features the world premiere of Singapore-based composer Robert Casteels' Ouverture Spirituelle, commissioned by the SSO.
