Venue Support Scheme

As part of our mission to spread the love for music, nurture talent and enrich Singapore’s diverse communities, we support the local music community by extending our expertise and venue for their productions.

The Singapore Symphony Group’s Venue Support (SSG-VS) Scheme is available to groups grounded in Western Classical orchestral music and based in Singapore. We welcome compelling proposals for projects you would like to actualise at the Victoria Concert Hall, home of the SSO.

Venue Support Scheme

Interested Singapore-based Western Classical music ensembles are welcome to submit their interest in the SSG-VS scheme. Proposals should demonstrate a clear performance element that is secular in nature. Selection considerations will also include the long-term direction of the group.

Priority will be given to compelling proposals from the following groups who:

  • have not formerly participated in the Venue Support Scheme
  • have been formed for fewer than 5 years (as of 2026)
  • have charity status, with a clearly defined management and leadership team, and a long-term plan

The Singapore Symphony Group will provide the following:

  • Two full days within the Victoria Concert Hall
  • Venue rental costs for the two days, to a maximum of 3 x 4-hour blocks of rehearsals + 1 x 4-hour block of concert booking
  • Offer free usage of the Steinway piano/Klais Organ (subject to review)

Further details on provisions will be shared upon successful application.
