Synopsis
Not one but two concertos fill this musical itinerary starring popular Singapore-based cellist Qin Li-Wei - and in each trip, paired with a partner. In the eccentric escapades of Don Quixote, the cello hero is accompanied by his sidekick on viola. Don't miss Zhao Lin’s A Happy Excursion 《逍遥游》, a poetic, one-of-a-kind tale for cello and pipa (Chinese traditional lute) created at the initiative of world-renowned pipa virtuoso Wu Man. Distinguished conductor Yu Long directs this oriental odyssey.
