Synopsis
Expect a flurry of explosive whimsicality and enigmatic wit as SSO Principal Flutist Jin Ta takes on the challenging 1934 Flute Concerto by eclectic French composer Jacques Ibert. The programme led by our Chief Conductor Hans Graf also features two masterpieces from the Germanic symphony canon: Haydn’s 95th - august and aristocratic, and Mendelssohn’s imposing First Symphony.
This concert is dedicated to all healthcare workers in Singapore, as we mark the first anniversary of the circuit breaker.
