Fire and Colour
Acclaimed Singapore-born conductor Darrell Ang returns with a night of orchestral colour and emotional fire. The flights of fancy in Suk’s Scherzo Fantastique and the post-Tchaikovskian riches of Glazunov’s Fifth Symphony contrastingly frame the soul-crushing magnificence of Elgar’s Cello Concerto, helmed by esteemed cellist Steven Isserlis.
