Synopsis
In commemoration of their founding anniversaries, the Singapore Symphony Chorus, Youth Choir and Children's Choir present Jubiläum: A Celebration of Symphonic Voices rooted in the love of singing. Beginning from the sacred traditions of 19th/20th-century English and French masters to the contemporary lyrics of Nordic and American composers, this concert showcases the development of the choruses' programmes over the last 45 years. It brings you back home with the world premiere of three choral commissions written by Singaporean composers, representing the blossoming of a unique Singaporean musical identity.
