Christopher and Rosy Ho Audience Prize

National Piano & Violin Competition 2025

The Christopher and Rosy Ho Audience Prize aims to recognize outstanding performers, regardless of category. Only one pianist and one violinist from across all categories, who have progressed to the Finals, will be awarded this prestigious prize.
Updated: The Winners will be determined by a combination of public votes and adjudicator votes. The Piano and Violin Finalists, whose performances are deemed the most outstanding by the combined votes, will win the prize category for NPVC 2025.
Winners will receive:
- A Christopher and Rosy Ho Audience Prize trophy
- Cash award of SGD $5,000
Voting results will be announced at the NPVC Prize Presentation Ceremony on 30 November 2025. The NPVC Prize Presentation Ceremony will also be livestreamed on the Singapore Symphony YouTube Channel.

Voting Timelines
Voting will commence with the start of the first Violin Final and Piano Final round.
Voting Periods:
Piano Finalists: 25 November 2025, 1.45pm – 29 November 2025, 10.15pm (SGT)
Violin Finalists: 26 November 2025, 10am – 30 November 2025, 4.30pm (SGT)
Voting will close 30 minutes after the end of the Piano Artist Finals on 29 November and Violin Artist Finals 30 November 2025. You may vote anytime within these windows.
Voting Mechanics
- The voting link will be posted on this page on 20 November, 10am. You may view the participants’ performances on Singapore Symphony YouTube channel.
- Voting must be completed using the provided link. Submissions by other means, including write-in or call-in votes, will not be accepted.
Voting is open to both local and international voters. Do note that the voting times are indicated in accordance with the local time zone, GMT+8.
People who are ineligible to vote:
- All competitors who are being considered for the prize
- All involved staff of the Singapore Symphony Group
- Each vote is registered via email address.
- Voters will need a valid email address to receive a verification code during the online voting process.
- To ensure fairness, voters are only to vote once for either instrument category.
- Once a vote has been submitted, it is considered final. No amendments will be allowed. If multiple submissions are received by the same name and/or email address, only the first attempt will be considered.
- The submission form can detect IP addresses attached to devices that are logging in with multiple submissons and block from further voting.
- Voters will receive an auto-generated email confirming the submission of their vote. The Singapore Symphony Group will not provide any further confirmation of a vote.
The Winners of this prize category will be determined by the number of qualified votes received from the public and adjudicators, and counted by the NPVC organising team.
