Synopsis

From Princess Mononoke to Harry Potter, this programme invites you to be transported for an enchanted hour to a place somewhere between cinematic fantasy and classical rapture. Specially curated by conductor Jason Lai, this lineup also stars SSO Principal Tuba Tomoki Natsume in the animated and witty tuba concerto by Young Sherlock Holmes composer Bruce Broughton. Even if you recognise few of the titles in the list, we know you’ll enjoy this musical box of chocolates that’s sure to sweeten your evening.

Admission Advice

  • This concert is recommended for ages 5 and above.
  • Parents or guardians of children who become disruptive during the performance may be requested by venue staff to step out of the hall with the child.
  • Each individual must have a ticket for admission.
  • Strictly no admission for infant-in-arms and toddlers.

  • You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
  • Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.

  • Photos, video and audio recording are strictly NOT allowed when artistes are performing.
  • These are allowed when artistes are not performing, such as during bows and applause. Please disable camera flash before taking photos.
