Don't miss the pre-show performance happening from 5.35pm by Symphony 924's Young Talent, Mapletree-TENG Scholar and Zhong Ruan musician, Li Zhixin will perform Camel Bells Along the Silk Road 丝路驼铃 by Ning Yong. This segment will be hosted by hosted by Khim Oei and Amanda Zhu.

Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1999, Chieh-An began learning the violin at the age of five. She was admitted to the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music with full scholarship under the tutelage of Qian Zhou at the age of 17. Chieh-An also holds a graduate diploma from the Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles, where she studies with Martin Beaver under full scholarship after she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Singapore. 
Chieh-An was the first prize winner of the New Tang Dynasty Television Competition for young musicians in 2015, where she performed several concerts in Taiwan after winning the award. In 2019, she won the first prize of the concerto competition in Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of music, where she performed the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor with the conservatory orchestra in August the same year. She is also the prize-winner of the 2nd Sylvia Shu-Te Lee Violin Competition, and was awarded the highest prize of the Singapore Violin Festival Competition in 2020.
Chieh-An has participated and performed in important music festivals including the Salzburg Mozarteum Academy, Singapore Violin Festival, Keshet Eilon International String Mastercourse in Israel and Festival Academy Budapest, where she studied with renowned violinists Shlomo Mintz, Victor Danchenko, Takashi Shimizu, David Takeno, Joel Smirnoff, Hyo Kang and Midori Goto. As an active orchestra player, she was invited to the Chofu International Music Festival in Japan and performed with conductor Masaaki Suzuki in 2019. She participated in the New York String Orchestra Seminar 2021 in New York, where she performed at the Carnegie Hall with Jamie Laredo. As an avid chamber musician, she also performed with renowned pianist Fabio Bidini and cellist Clive Greensmith at the Colburn Chamber Music Society concert, and had masterclasses with members of the Juilliard Quartet, Shanghai Quartet, Jerusalem Quartet and Tokyo String Quartet.
