The SSC Affair

Immerse yourself in a choral workshop with the Singapore Symphony Chorus (SSC)! Led by Choral Director Eudenice Palaruan and Assistant Choral Conductor Ellissa Sayampanathan, join our exclusive programme and dive into the excitement of performing excerpts from the current and upcoming seasons’ choral masterpieces by Brahms and Beethoven, alongside fellow choristers, and accompanied by the historic Klais Organ at the Victoria Concert Hall. Don't miss this unique opportunity to indulge in a memorable day, exploring the symphonic choral repertoire with the SSC!

Recommended for choristers between the ages of 28 to 65. Participants should have some (past or current) choral experience, an ability to read music is advantageous but not compulsory.

Please note that the classical repertoire may include liturgical works.

Programme Types

1. Chorus and Solo workshops

• For choristers interested in exploring their solo voice, there will be opportunity to work 1-on-1 with voice clinicians. Limited slots available.

2. Chorus-only workshops

• Choristers will get to partake in workshops that would include classical choral training, performance tips and vocal techniques.
