Bryan Chong

Bryan is a Singaporean horn player who had his first horn lessons with Gao Jian at the age of 14 after joining the Singapore National Youth Orchestra.
In 2016, he furthered his studies with Jamie Hersch at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and graduated with honours in 2020. During his time as a student, Bryan performed in masterclasses and received artistic advice from world-class musicians such as Stefan Dohr, Sarah Willis, Jan Harshagen, Christian-Friedrich Dallmann, Jean-Pierre Dassonville and Olivier Darbellay.
As an active orchestral musician, Bryan gains regular performing experience with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Sun Symphony Orchestra, Resound Chamber Orchestra, Metropolitan Festival Orchestra, Singapore Lyric Opera and the Orchestra of the Music Makers. In 2016, he was a substitute horn player with Les Misérables International for their Singapore tour.
During his free time, Bryan enjoys playing video games and running.
