Marc-Antoine Robillard

Horn player Marc-Antoine Robillard hails from Montreal, Canada and is a graduate of the Conservatoire de musique de Montreal and Musikhochschule Winterthur-Zurich. He has held positions in various ensembles such as the National Academy Orchestra of Canada and the Ensemble Contemporain the Montreal. In Europe, he was Principal Horn of the Aalborg Symphony from 2002 to 2007.

Since there is little chance to play ice hockey or to do cross-country skiing in Singapore, he spends his free time swimming or playing golf. His teachers include James Somerville, Amme-Marie Larose and John Milner. He joined the SSO as its Associate Principal Horn in 2007.
