Reina Teo

Reina graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance with Distinction from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music under Ng Yu-Ying, where she was awarded the Goh Soon Tioe Leadership Award. In 2024, she studied at the Royal Conservatoire The Hague as an exchange student under Professor Lisa Jacobs.

She subsequently pursued a Master’s degree in Instrumental and Chamber Music Studies at the Tianjin Juilliard School as a Fellowship recipient, studying under Professors He Wei and Angelo Yu.

An active orchestral and chamber musician, Reina has served as Assistant Concertmaster and Principal Violinist at the Round Top Music Festival, and has performed at Festival Zeeland Klassiek alongside artists including Lisa Jacobs, Lech Antonio Uszynski, Anton Spronk and Angela Chan. Most recently, she performed Mendelssohn’s Octet with the Juilliard String Quartet.

Reina has performed with the Wuxi Symphony Orchestra and served as Concertmaster of both the Tianjin Juilliard Orchestra and the YST Orchestra. She is also a guest player with the Sun Symphony Orchestra and collaborates with ensembles including Resound Collective and Red Dot Baroque. Beyond the classical stage, she has worked with artists such as TwoSet Violin, Josh Makazo and Diamond Zhang.

Reina performs on a 1922 Carlo Carletti violin generously loaned by the Rin Collection.
