Renyu Martin Peh

Renyu Martin Peh is a Singaporean violinist and violist who performs regularly in a wide range of chamber and orchestral settings. An alumnus of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra, he holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Performance from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, as well as degrees from the Yale School of Music and the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music.

During his time at Stony Brook, he served as a music theory teaching assistant under composer Perry Goldstein and participated in the Emerson String Quartet Institute.

Upon completing his studies, he returned to Singapore, where he worked as a luthier apprentice under Tong Ming Xi.

He is currently a member of the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and remains active in the local music scene, performing with ensembles including the Resound Collective, where he served as a core member for five years; the Metropolitan Festival Orchestra; the Asian Cultural Symphony Orchestra; and occasionally the T’ang Quartet.
