Shao Tao Tao

Shao Tao Tao began playing the violin at the age of six, under the tutelage of her father, Shao Jin Min. She went on to study at the middle school affiliated with the Xian Conservatory of Music under Wang Zhong De and graduated in 1987.

Tao Tao continued her studies with Zhen Shi Shen at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. After her graduation in 1991, she joined the Shanghai Ballet Orchestra and Shanghai Opera House before joining the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in 1996.

Outside of music, she enjoys watching television programmes and making delicious meals for her family!
