Shu Zhan Yin (Yin Shu Zhan)

Born in Beijing, Yin Shu Zhan graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in 1981 and was awarded a position in the China Broadcast Symphony Orchestra (China Philharmonic Orchestra). She went on to perform in many European countries with the orchestra.

From 1983 to 1991, she was part of the Black Duck Chorus Group, the first chorus group in the Chinese singing world. The group performed the backstage vocals for the albums of nearly 100 artists in China. She came to Singapore in 1991 and joined the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in 1995.
