SINGAPORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA – CASTING AUDITION FOR PUCCINI'S LA BOHÈME

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will be performing the concert version of Puccini's La bohème at the Esplanade Concert Hall on 27th and 28th April 2018. We would like to call for an audition for the roles of Benoît, Alcindoro and Parpignol. This call is open only to applicants who will be based in Singapore during the audition period 21 – 25 August 2017, and during the week of 22 – 28 April 2018.

Eligible applicants are invited to send in, by 28 July 2017, a CV and contact information as well as a non-returnable DVD recording of performance of any operatic aria, with composer and title of the aria clearly indicated on the DVD, to the following address:

Shortlisted applicants shall be notified by mid-August 2017 to participate in the live audition where they are expected to sing the relevant excerpt(s) for the role(s) they are auditioning for. Applicants are welcome to arrange their own accompanist.
