SSO Mother's Day Concert goes online

Singapore, 6 May 2021 - In view of the latest guidelines issued by the National Arts Council, the Singapore Symphony Orchestra will be cancelling its Mother’s Day Concert and moving it online due to safety reasons. The concert will be streamed live from Singapore Botanic Gardens Bandstand at 6pm on Sunday 9 May, and will be available for viewing on the SSO and NParks Facebook pages.

The Singapore Symphony Orchestra remains committed to keeping its audiences, musicians and staff safe during the pandemic. This would have been the SSO’s first live outdoor performance in more than a year, with audience capacity capped at 100.
