VCHPRESENTS: TWO FREE ORGAN CONCERTS – ORGAN, FRANÇAIS; SECOND WIND
The majestic Victoria Concert Hall Klais organ will be put through its paces in two upcoming free lunchtime concerts. On Monday 24 February at 12.30pm, organist François Espinasse showcases a handful of great French works for the instrument: including Louis Vierne’s Carillon de Westminster and César Franck’s Prélude, Fugue et Variation.
The concert is free to attend and is supported by the Singapore Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. Registration is now open on Eventbrite.
On Monday 4 May at 12.30pm we continue our free lunchtime concert series with a programme of music for the unusual pairing of organ and flute. Organist Koh Jia Hwei is joined by flautist Cheryl Lim for music by Vierne, Jehan Alain and more.
Registration for the concert will open on 20 April. Both concerts are sponsored by the Lee Foundation.
