[Update: 1 Nov] There has been a change of venue for this recital from the Victoria Concert Hall to the Victoria Concert Hall Dance Studio.
“Discreetly highlighting Kornauth’s mother-of-pearl harmonies or dabbing little flecks of gold on the second movement of the Fuchs Sonata," Gramophone calls the Litton Duo’s album an “imaginative and engaging programme.”
Conductor Andrew Litton takes to the piano in this recital, by the side of his wife Katharina Kang Litton, principal violist of the New York City Ballet. The names Kornauth and Fuchs may not ring a bell, but their music is made of deeply felt beauty that you will not regret getting to know.
