National Piano & Violin Competition 2023: Schedule, Ticketing & Admissions
All performances will be livestreamed on Singapore Symphony and Singapore National Youth Orchestra’s YouTube channels. In addition, the public can enjoy free admission to most live competition rounds. Tickets to the Artist Finals on 2 & 3 December and Prize Winners’ Concert on 3 December will be available at $10 each. Click here to book now.

Admission advice for non-ticketed concerts
- Please collect a ticket before proceeding to the Competition Venue. Please take note of the respective ticket collection venues:
- For concerts held at Victoria Concert Hall: Concert Hall Foyer, level 2.
- For concerts held at Esplanade Recital Studio: Entrance of the studio
- Tickets will be available on a first-come-first-served basis, half an hour before each non-ticketed concert. We regret that tickets cannot be collected on behalf of persons not present.
- Doors open half an hour before the concert. Each round will last approximately up to 3 hours.
- Children must be age 7 and above to be admitted into the hall.
- Children under 7 will not be admitted into the hall, even with a ticket.
- Please bring along proof of child’s age, such as a student concession pass, as random checks may be conducted at the venue.
- We reserve the right to ask parents to bring children out of the hall should they be disruptive during the performance.
- You are strongly advised to be seated 15 minutes before the performance start time.
- Latecomers will only be admitted at appropriate pauses during the show or during intermission, if any.
- Unauthorised photography and videography are strictly not allowed when competitors are performing.
- You may take photos (without flash) and videos when competitors are not performing, e.g. during bows and applause.
Photographs and videos will be taken at the event in which you may appear. Such photographs and videos may be displayed or published on SSG’s website, social media platforms, publications and publicity materials. By attending the event, you consent to the use of these photographs and videos for the foregoing purposes.
This advisory applies to the non-ticketed concerts.
The Artist Piano Finals (2 Dec), Artist Violin Finals (3 Dec) and Prize Winners' Concert & Prize Presentation (3 Dec) are ticketed.
