The Singapore Symphony Orchestra is pleased to announce that the SSO Christmas Fundraising Concert 2020 raised some $112,000 during the festive season.

This fundraiser was important to the SSO, as we faced the daunting challenges of an uncertain year ahead. The money raised also unlocks matching grants that sustains the orchestra and its outreach programmes.

As the concerts were part of a national pilot for pre-concert COVID-19 testing, we would like to extend our appreciation to all patrons who gamely took the Antigen Rapid Test and played a part in supporting Singapore’s efforts to allow resumption of large-scale events with a live audience.

Thank you for the giving the SSO the chance to keep delivering transformative music in its live and digital performances. This would not have been possible without your understanding and generosity.

Thanks for organising, we loved the concert, it was actually our first experience of the SSO and felt so special. We will be back.

I enjoyed my night with SSO on the 16th Dec, thank you. Thank you Singapore Symphony Orchestra. This year is difficult to all of you, I hope we have better 2021. Definitely I look forward to joining SSO performance in the New Year. Wishing you have a blessed New Year 2021.

It is privilege be able to join SSO for this year Christmas concert. Thank you all of your efforts and hard work.

I love SSO very much, all performances have left me a beautiful impression.

Our pleasure to support SSO in this tough year.

Wishing you and all the SSO family a happy ending and a bright start. May 2021 bring live music back into our lives.

The SSO is most grateful to the caring community of classical music lovers for helping us end 2020 on a good note. We look forward to seeing more of you in the concert halls and online in 2021!
