This year’s Patron of the Arts Awards (POAA) marked a historic milestone for Singapore’s arts philanthropy, with the highest number of patrons recognised in the last five years.
Held on 20 August 2025 at the Pan Pacific Singapore and officiated by Mr David Neo, Acting Minister for Culture, Community and Youth and Senior Minister of State for Education, the 42nd edition of the awards honoured 515 patrons, comprising 412 individuals and 103 organisations.
We are proud that 88 donors of the Singapore Symphony Group were recognised in this year’s POAA across all tiers of the award acknowledgements. As a beneficiary of arts patronage in Singapore, we extend our deepest gratitude to supporters who give to the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and its affiliated performing groups. Their generosity enables us to sustain our mission of bringing memorable shared experiences with music to the community.
The arts shape the Singapore spirit – they help us distil who we are and strengthen our shared identity as Singaporeans. Over the past sixty years, our artists and arts groups have made many invaluable contributions to our nation building journey. This would not have been possible without the steadfast support of our patrons, whose generosity – through financial donations and in-kind contributions – has been critical to the long-term growth of our arts ecosystem. With your continued partnership, alongside the Government’s support, we can nurture a distinct and vibrant arts scene that every Singaporean can be proud of.
