The 2026 Patron of the Arts Awards marked yet another milestone for arts philanthropy in Singapore, with a record 585 individual and corporate patrons recognised for their gifts made in 2025 to support the arts landscape.
We are proud that 94 Singapore Symphony Group (SSG) donors were recognised at the Awards, up from 88 last year. Adding further joy to the occasion, we had our largest number of donors who attended the Awards ceremony held on 27 August 2026 at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore to celebrate alongside fellow benefactors of the cultural landscape.
A particularly significant note to the evening was the announcement of a new 1,000-seat performing arts theatre at the site of the former Tanglin Shopping Centre to be completed by 2030 – a powerful investment in Singapore's arts infrastructure and cultural development.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our donors for your contributions towards the work of the Singapore Symphony – as well as to all who give in support of Singapore's cultural ecosystem. Your generosity enables us to continue our work as our national orchestra, and helps create vibrant futures for the arts.
