IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR – SSO CHRISTMAS CONCERT

And it’s also a different wonderful this year! Our ever-popular Christmas Concert switches things up this December with a programme of contemporary Christmas delights, led by our guest singer-songwriter Mandy Dickson. The vivacious, honey-toned Mandy has performed in 22 countries, including the Disney On Classic – A Magical Night Asia Tour which reached Singapore in 2015.

Mandy joins the orchestra and combined choirs of the Singapore Symphony in a joyous programme. Together they will perform such songs as “Somewhere in My Memory” (Home Alone), “This Is My Wish” , “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” as well as “That’s Christmas to Me”, the song by popular choral a cappella group Pentatonix, whose eponymous album peaked at no. 2 on Billboard.

The special arrangements in this concert include the works of award-winning composer David Bawiec and Singapore Symphony Choral Director Eudenice Palaruan. Their previous collaboration in the 2017 Christmas Concert resulted in the standout version of “O Come, All Ye Faithful”, which proved to be a memorable hit.

The SSO Christmas Concert is a unique occasion of holiday conviviality and cheer, and a wonderful musical send-off for 2018.
