From 1 Jan 2022, only fully vaccinated, recovered, medically ineligible individuals, or children aged 12 and below, will be allowed admission into the venue. Pre-Event Testing (PET) results will no longer be accepted. Refunds will not be granted to ticket-holders who do not meet these admission requirements.

Chapteh, Five Stones, Kuti-Kuti, Gasing - these are games that have accompanied our childhood. Composer Tan Yuting drew on the theme of game and playfulness in composing the set pieces for last year's National Piano and Violin Competition as a homage to our heritage and our childhood memories. Featuring original poems by Storyteller Rosemarie Somiah, the pieces draw on the deeper lessons that each game provides. Like a Gasing, one can spin out of control but also choose to be grounded; while, in Five Stones, we learn the importance of loneliness and teamwork in life.

The pieces will be performed by selected participants of the 2021 National Piano and Violin Competition.
