Deepening Community Impact and Sharing the Joy of Music
At the Singapore Symphony Group, we are constantly exploring new ways to share our music with the wider community, so that more people can experience it live and forge memorable shared experiences through music. Through our free concerts at community venues and concert invitations extended to beneficiaries, we strive to bring music to the people and places where it can matter most.
Bringing Music to the Community
Beyond the concert hall, our music engages an even broader pool of audiences from all walks of life, united by the shared experience and connective power of the Singapore Symphony and its music. Each year, thousands look forward to our free concerts at the Singapore Botanic Gardens and Gardens by the Bay, while our intimate performances at healthcare venues such as Woodlands Hospital and St Luke’s Hospital are specially curated to bring comfort to patients, residents, caregivers and healthcare workers.
Gifting Concert Experiences
In the 2025/26 season, we welcomed more than 800 beneficiaries from 17 social impact organisations at our concerts. From our beloved Concerts for Children and the celebratory National Day Concert to SSO gala concerts, we were delighted to share the magic of live music-making with the beneficiaries. We look forward to developing this initiative further to expand access to the arts and bring music to diverse audiences.
Your support sustains these programmes and allows us to continue exploring ways to reach more audiences, as we open doors and create opportunities for encounters with classical music and its transformative powers – whether in their own communities or in the concert hall.

The SSO Concerts for Children are an invaluable resource for promoting arts accessibility. They provided many of our families with their first SSO concert experience. We are particularly grateful for the accommodations, including the relaxed environment and the high level of performer engagement. The interactive sessions were both educational and highly effective in engaging our children.
