DIGITAL PROJECTS MANAGER

The Manager reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Communications. Key responsibilities are to project-lead and manage SSO’s streaming platform and future digital projects, manage paid and in-kind partnerships with third party platforms as well as present regular updates across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Owned and Third Party Platforms

  • Project-lead and manage SSOLOUNGE streaming platform, including optimising user experience, working with vendors on enhancements, using self-serve feature to publish concert videos, monitoring platform performance and ensuring that new releases are uploaded as scheduled.
  • Manage relationships with third party streaming platforms, including evaluating proposals to use SSO content for paid or in-kind partnerships to optimise reach and revenue.
  • Project-manage future digital projects such as SSO website enhancements and redevelopment, including gathering business requirements.
  • Manage monetization of SSO's owned media and platforms, including SSO's website (Google AdSense) and publications, as well as regular reviews of SSO's ad packages and rate card.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on the performance of SSOLOUNGE, including viewership and sales as well as site user behaviour, using data from the BI dashboard and Google Analytics.
  • Facilitate coordination and present regular project updates across the company, working closely with Concerts & Recordings division and other teams.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties, including vendors.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Knowledge of classical music will be an advantage
  • Minimum of 5 years’ managerial-level experience working in a related role. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the same job, positioned at the Assistant Manager level.
  • A university degree in a related discipline
  • Hands on experience in the area of digital technology and digital transformation will be an advantage
  • Exceptional organizational skills, good initiative and the ability to work under pressure
  • Resilient individual with positive energy and excellent writing and communication skills
  • Takes a collaborative approach to working with colleagues
  • Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends and holidays
